…and then some

Bertolt Brecht was born on February 10, 1898 in Augsburg’s Old Town at “Auf dem Rain 7”.  In 1990, the city decided to establish a Bert Brecht Research Center and thus re-design the existing memorial in his birth house. The Brecht House re-opened on February 10, 1998 in conjunction with Brecht’s 100th birthday. It is a first-rate literary museum where one can get a commanding overview of Brecht’s life, thoughts and work.

More information about the Brecht House can be found on the Brecht Research Center website(in German)
